 My first day at college 

 

  My first day at college is the most memorable day in my life. The day was so thrilling and memorable that i can still remember it clearly. It opened before me a new horizon of life. At last the long cherished day came to my life in the month of October, 2023. I reached the college by my mother's Scooty early in the morning. I entered the college campus with curiosity and found that most of the faces where unknown to me I was walking here and there until I met one of my school friends.

   She advised me to note down the routine from the notice board. I followed her advise and took down the routine. It was the first thing that I did on my first day at college. I experienced that the system in the college was different from what I was accustomed to in the school. There my first surprise came when I found that I would have to change my classroom after every period. I also did not know that roll-call was done in each period.

   When the bell rang for the first period, I entered the classroom. I found many students sitting there. After a while, professor came to classroom. He was the professor of journalism. I listen to his lecture with rapt attention. In the second period we had Kannada. I also attended more then two classes were on that day. All the classes were very enjoyable. I was fascinated by the learned and lucid lecturers of the teachers. 

   The classes being over, my friend took me to the canteen. We took snacks there and felt like being great friends. From there we went to the college common room where I write the notes and my friend played a game on mobile phone. Then we went to the library building. I entered this spacious reading room with curiosity. I saw there were many students engrossed in study. I felt highly tempted to sit with them but I had no library card. 

   However, since I had no more class on that day, I came straight home with my mother on a Scooty. The memory of my first day at college will remain fresh in my mind forever.
